Is oral sex okay while using VCF?Yes, you can engage in oral sex before intercourse. VCF does not contain any added flavor or scent but may taste medicinal. The ingredients in VCF are non-toxic. | Is VCF compatible with the use of a personal lubricant?A water or oil-based lubricant may be used with the contraceptive film, but we strongly recommend that you insert the Gel or Film first and then utilize a lubricant. | Can I go in a pool or hot tub while using VCF?We do not recommend inserting the Gel and then entering a pool or hot tub as this may cause the spermicide to be washed out of the body prematurely and consequently lessen or even totally eliminate its effectiveness. | Does this product protect against Diseases?This product does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other STDs and may increase the risk of getting HIV from an infected partner. Do not use if you or your sex partner has HIV/AIDS. If you do not know if you or your sex partner is infected, choose another form of birth control. |
